Ben Mitchell is a singer-songwriter from Australia who revels in genre-hopping. Chance To Love showcases Mitchell’s love for melody, catchy choruses and his personal philosophy that love isn’t just all you need, it’s all we’re really here to do.

While comparisons have been made to such varied talents as Beck, Leonard Cohen, Neil Finn, Ben Harper and James Taylor—Mitchell carves out his own sound on Chance To Love, a blend of lo-fi acoustic-pop, indie-folk/-pop-rock and country blues. Recorded in Healesville, a Victorian country town an hour east of Melbourne, Australia, Chance To Love features 17 songs, all written, recorded and produced by Mitchell—who plays every instrument on the album too.

It was also picked up by Amazing Radio in UK and Ireland, who chose the upbeat country-soul pop track, Beautiful Mess to spin.
